Elm Design was established in 2002 and produces bespoke contemporary art glass. Designed and hand-made by Emma Picton, the glass is kiln formed to create a range of unique glassware. Our glass art items are all unique, one off pieces ranging from decorative bowls and wall mounted art panels to sculptures. They are designed and created to make living and working environments more attractive, evocative and thought provoking. Every item is hand crafted and kiln fired several times to create the desired effect. Our range of tableware is designed for those looking for individual pieces for use in everyday life. The kiln forming techniques used, and the nature of the glass itself, ensure that no two items are ever absolutely identical in pattern, giving the owner something genuinely unique. We also produce a range of architectural glass to commission, including door panels and other site specific pieces.
